What this is

ScienceGym is an early demo of an Earth and space science practice tool for high school students: short lessons built on real data and evidence, quick checks, written answers with feedback, and help working through science projects, lab reports, and homework. It is new and actively being improved. Things will occasionally be rough or change without notice.

The feedback comes from AI, and AI makes mistakes

Feedback, practice questions, and explanations are written by an AI model. They will sometimes be wrong — including about science: a number, a unit, what a data set shows, or whether your answer is right. Treat ScienceGym as a practice partner with opinions, not an authority. When it matters, check facts against your textbook, your class notes, or your teacher. Results here are practice feedback, not grades, and say nothing official about how you'll do on an exam.

Your work is yours

You keep every right to anything you write here. We store your answers, projects, and homework so we can give feedback, show you your past work, and track your progress. We don't publish them (unless you turn on a project's share link), sell them, or use them to train models. You can download your answers or delete your account and all of its data from Settings at any time, or email [email protected] and we'll do it for you.

What we ask of you

  • Do your own work. ScienceGym is built to help you think and write for yourself — it won't write your answers or hand you the evidence. Follow your school's and your teacher's rules about using AI tools for schoolwork, and when in doubt, ask them.
  • Only upload or paste material you have the right to use, like your own assignments and drafts. Don't paste in other people's work for scoring.
  • Don't try to break, overload, or trick the service. If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected] and we'll thank you for it.
  • One account per person. Sign-in is by email link; keep that inbox secure.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, please read these terms and our privacy policy with a parent or guardian before you sign up.

Accounts

Your account is your email address. There is no password; we send a one-time sign-in link when you ask for one. You can sign out from any page. We may close accounts that abuse the service.

No guarantees

The service is provided as-is. We don't promise it will always be available, that feedback or scientific content is accurate, or that practicing here will raise your grades — though helping you think like a scientist is the whole point, and we work on it every day. As a demo, it may be reset, changed, or taken offline. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows. When something material changes we'll say so on this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
